Dr. Omar Hussain MD
Dr. Hussain’s true passion is helping each of his patients achieve their individual beauty ideals. His profound expertise and diverse experience are complemented by the latest advancements in Aesthetic Surgery.
Dr. Hussain graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College where he went on to earn his Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He continued his post-graduate surgical training with a surgical residency in General Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was awarded the Leo Rigler Award for his exceptional operative skill and surgical expertise. Subsequently, Dr. Hussain completed his residency in plastic & reconstructive surgery at the renowned Mayo Clinic where he was appointed Chief Resident of plastic surgery.
Dr. Hussain’s early career was divided equally between aesthetic surgery and reconstructive surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles California. During that time, he performed complex reconstructive surgeries for patients disfigured from cancer or trauma.
He currently serves on his appointed seat on the Cancer Committee and teaches the Plastic Surgery skills lab to the general surgery residents twice yearly. Dr Hussain resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife and two beautiful children.
Dr. Hussain’s extensive training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery uniquely qualifies him as an expert in correcting or reconstructing undesirable cosmetic surgery results. He is recognized for his professional integrity, candid and honest approach, and compassion towards his patients.

Giving Back
Philanthropy is a cornerstone of Dr. Hussain’s practice. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to medical missions, providing advanced surgical care to underserved populations.
He volunteers as a plastic surgeon for "Shine Humanity to perform reconstructive surgeries in remote regions around the world, where he also provides pro bono training to local surgeons.

Shine Humanity is a non-profit organization that provides free healthcare in the neglected areas of rural Pakistan. We believe that primary healthcare is the right of every Pakistani. We work with local communities in rural areas and provide preventative primary healthcare solutions through community outreach and technological innovation.
